I have a photograph taken in the 1940’s that appears to be laminated onto a wooden plaque. It is one of a set of three. I would like to make duplicates of this, but don’t know if there is a company that still uses this technique. On the back there is a sticker that calls it a Pyraglass product, but my searches haven’t turned up anything. Any help would be appreciated.

CBL123 asked:

to achieve a similar hair style that jackie kennedy is wearing in this photo:

My hair is longer than hers in this picture, and I don’t know if I would want my hair as “high” as hers, but I like the general style.
I have tried teasing the roots and combing over….but my hair will eventually fall and part again. I want to wear my bangs and sides back, and make sure they keep. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I want to incorporate my photograph into a multi-media art piece. I am printing the photo myself on premium photo paper. I would like to play around with this, so my question is, can you literally burn – as in with a flame, not in photoshop – the edges of the paper? Is there any danger involved in this due to the type of paper? Anyone recommend any good technique here?

I tried google but all inquiries on burning and photos referenced doing this on the computer, i.e. through Photoshop or on a CD.

Drenton asked:

A lot of people refer to photos as “edgy”, despite how they usually use a generic subject and/or post-processing (Such as the “Cross-Processed look). They are usually unable to tell me what it is about the photo that makes it edgy, and just say “’cause it’s different”. When I point out that the techniques are over-used or clichéd, they are unable to make a comeback.
So, tell me, what is an “edgy” photo?

Jersey Girl asked:

I’m working on a research project for class. Before and after photos are by the tons, but I can’t find any mistakes or botched jobs. I don’t want to expose or embarrass anyone, not for a minute. I was thinking just like the before/after photos of techniques that were successful with the faces covered and names missing, what about those before/after showing the mistakes?
